One of our favorite parts of Blessed Buy Israel is meeting so many amazing people in Israel, and being able to share their stories with you. We work directly with the producers of the products we offer, and have developed many wonderful relationships over the years. Here's a quick behind-the-scenes description of a typical journey to get more products.

The Journey Begins

A couple months ago, I drove to Batya’s ceramics studio to pick up a load of beautiful cups to bring to the port, where they are shipped to the US. Most of the products we offer come from Judea and Samaria, which has many beautiful areas. It was a clear, cool evening as I drove from one part of Samaria to another and the mountainous region offers many great views of much of Israel. Close to Batya’s home community of Itamar, is the Three Seas Lookout. On a clear day, from this location, you can see the Mediterranean Sea, Dead Sea, and the Sea of Galilee!

Darkness was beginning to fall as I pulled up to Batya’s studio, its lights beckoning me inside. She had been busy, the shelves and tables were filled with finished and unfinished cups, bowls and other pieces. There was also a stack of boxes filled with cups for me to load up.

The Products Set Sail ⛵

A few days later, with more helping hands this time, I went to the port in Haifa loaded with ceramics and more products–Tea, Spices, Soap, and Honey. We prepared the pallets for shipment and days later they were aboard a ship, steaming west across the Mediterranean, bound for New York.

All the soaps and spices and teas make our warehouse smell amazing. The coffees and honey are always there, tempting us to enjoy their deliciousness, and we do quite often. But it also brings us great joy to share the delights of Israel with all of you! Know that when you buy the wonderful products of the Land, you are also sowing into beautiful families in the heartland of Israel.
