If you have ever been to Israel, most likely you have been to a “Shuk” or, “an outdoor Market.” It is definitely an experience unlike anything in offered in the U.S. There are all kinds of “Teh, Pirot, v’Mamtakim” (Tea, Fruit, and Candies). The vendors shout out their wares and invite you to taste their delicious products. Shouts of “Bo, Kanes, Shalom, ve’Baruch Haba” (Come, Enter, Hello, and Welcome!) ring out as every vendor attempts to welcome the unsuspecting tourist into their shop.
Usually, if they are not too busy, they will sit down and ask all about your life. “Ma Atah Oseh Ba’aretz? Ma Atah Oseh B’chaim? Me’eifo Atah?” (What are you doing in in Israel? What do you do for work? Where are you from?). These questions are usually asked while they prepare “Teh, Kafe, or Mayeem Kareem” (tea, coffee or cold water) along with “Chatifeem” (Snacks). Only after creating a connection with you (most are genuinely interested in getting to know you) do they usually turn to the important things at hand. Selling their wares! Make sure to bring plenty of “Kesef” (money) because there are so many good products to buy and be ready to enjoy a memorable experience of Israeli culture and cuisine.
With all that being said, we recognize that for many of our customers, the ability of having this experience in person may be limited. That’s why we are excited to bring the “Shuk” (outdoor market) to your doorstep. The smells and tastes of Israel can now be in your home as well! Fruit tea, olive oil, spices, soap, jewelry, and so much more can now be yours! It brings us so much joy to bring these products all the way from the land of Israel to your hearts and homes.
Together we are bringing to fulfillment the words of the Prophet Isaiah when he said, “Israel will blossom and sprout, and they will fill the whole world with fruit.” Until you are able to make the trip for yourself, please continue to support the work of BlessedBuyIsrael as we bring the market to you and to the whole world! If you enjoyed the Hebrew in this email, send us your feedback so we know to continue. And remember, don’t just Buy from Israel, Buy BlessedBuyIsrael! Shop Now »

I dearly love Israel; and the Jews I have been blessed with as friends have been the best friends a person could ever have. Loyalty is a word the “West” (and many other places) have lost in their language but Israel defines the word for the world. First in Loyalty to God, and the Country of God’s Chosen People. I’m now a very old Christian Gentile but have aged growing in Love and Devotion to Israel. As long as I shall live (though very old now) every day God gives to me it is a privilege to pray for Israel and her People.
