From Makura Farm in the Carmel Mountains of northern Israel, this organic extra virgin olive oil is made from 100% Coratina olives, a bold Italian cultivar known for its intense flavor, high natural bitterness, and strong peppery finish.

Makura’s Coratina EVOO is especially prized for its very high polyphenol content, coming in at 500mg/kg. Polyphenols are naturally occurring antioxidants found in extra virgin olive oil, and they contribute to the oil’s bold flavor, bitterness, pepperiness, and nutritional value.

This is a full-bodied olive oil with pronounced fruity, grassy, and herbaceous notes. It adds depth, structure, and character to food, making it an excellent choice when you want the olive oil to stand out rather than disappear into the dish.

Love the olive oil! I’ve used it in multiple salad dressings. Mostly, i just take a spoonful for health. So glad to find a high polyphenol oil that’s affordable and doesn’t taste like medicine. I will buy again and I can’t wait to try the whole wheat flour when it comes back in stock.

What a shame its not kosher

Such a shame, I was ready to buy this and recommend to my mother who is buying a Greek high Phenolic EVOO that is kosher and we would rather support Israel. Unfortunately the product isn't kosher. Let us know when you are kosher and we will be good customers. Hatzlucha.
