Israeli Special Forces - IDF Coffee

I have to admit not having a good expectation after opening the coffee. There was no good smell (smelled stale and of the bag). Also, I had to sort out the beans because there were several different types of defects. Out of 110 grams 13 grams were either quakers or badly broken. I did not count beans of different sizes because I know Robusta beans are larger, and another origin in the blend smaller. Otherwise, my rating would have been 5 stars. I brewed brewed the coffee and was surprised at how good it was. I will order it again. The 2nd bag of ISF coffee only had 2 grams of bad beans and was a lot better quality-wise. I just hope of not getting that many bad beans in a bag though. I did not complain because the coffee was very good and to support Israel anyway through the difficult time currently facing. God bless BBI, the IDF forces and the people of Israel.

I was so excited to finally receive both my espresso maker and my coffee bean grinder this week.
I've been patiently waiting to try this Israeli Special Forces coffee blend.
I prepared my first cup this Friday morning ; and, shortly thereafter,found myself cleaning house...lol.
I had planned on cleaning for Shabbat but was waffling, a little.
This coffee sure helped get me tackling the job.
The coffee was very good.

Robust, Strong, Aromatic yet smooth almost silky. BRAVO!
