If you are not sure which bottle to pick, one easy way to decide is by how bold you want the flavor to be. Here’s a quick guide to the four olive oils we offer, their main taste profile, and which dishes they go great with.
The Einot Kedem Blend (made from Barnea, Picual, Picholine, and Coratina olives) is the most versatile of the group, with notes of fresh green olive, a little tomato leaf, and a gentle peppery finish. Barnea often brings a smoother, fruitier base, while Picual and Coratina add structure, bitterness, and pepper. Picholine can add a lively, slightly herbal edge. This is the bottle for everyday use, salads, roasted vegetables, grilled chicken, and bread on the table when you want one oil that does almost everything well.
Our Organic Souri has a more classic Middle East character. Souri oils are fresh and herbal, with green fruit notes, an intense fruity aroma, and a lively, pleasantly bitter finish. It works beautifully with hummus, labneh, tomatoes, simple fish, and lentils, where its fresh, lively character can really come through.
The Organic Koroneiki is bright, green, and lively. It is known for notes of green olive, tomato leaf, artichoke, and black pepper. This oil is especially good with Greek salads, grilled vegetables, white beans, roasted potatoes, and feta. If you like an olive oil with a fresher, greener taste, this is often the one people love most.
Our Organic Coratina is the boldest bottle here. Coratina is well-known for its strong bitterness and peppery finish, often with notes like green almond, arugula, artichoke, fennel, and green apple. Coratina gets its intensity from very high polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidants. Drizzle it over steak, bitter greens, bean soups, bruschetta, or anything off the grill. It can completely change a simple dish in the best way.
