This is a great product from Israel! It's smooth, creamy and perfect for use in/as hummus and in recipes! It's also great as a sauce in raw foods such as a "potato" salad made with jicama (Mexican potato) or even a zucchini humus!

The taste of this tahini is five-star-wonderful. They hit the sweet spot of toasting -- enough to get rid of the raw sesame taste without going too far and making it bitter. But the packaging is problematic, which is why I marked it down to four stars. Tahini always separates into oil on top and thick clay on the bottom and needs a LOT of hard stirring. A straight sided jar would make this much easier. Getting to the bottom efficiently with the narrow opening and the curves is a pain. I would still buy it again, but I will still grumble when I have to stir it!

I was able to serve at Hayovel in 2023 and excited to receive the Tahini! Items are Always packaged with obvious great care. I plan to make Halva with it and the Israeli Honey that I have ordered from BBI😃

The company I am told is run by Samaritans who are, in my view, misleadingly using the name Har Bracha, which can lead people to assume their company a associated with the town of the same name which precedes their company by literally decades. If I had known this beforehand, I’m not at all sure I would have bought the product.
