Listening for the Shofar of Repentenance and Redemption!

Every year, Jews around the world gather for the Festival of Trumpets, known in Hebrew as “Yom Teruah”—the Day of Blasting. It is also known as “Rosh HaShanah”—the beginning of the New Year. This festival (September 22-23 in Israel) is a continual reminder of the need for a restart with God by listening to the piercing sound of the shofar (ram’s horn). It is also a call to make “Teshuva”—Repentance; to turn back to God and His ways.

One way a person can demonstrate their repentance is by showing interest in what God is interested in. God is currently calling His children from all peoples, nations, and lands back to the land of Promise—Israel! It is truly, in the words of the Biblical leader Joshua, a “Tovah Ha’aretz Meod Meod”—an exceedingly good land! Not because it is simply a beautiful land, but rather, because of the pioneers who work to make it so. But it doesn’t stop there. The pioneers and artisans of Judea and Samaria, who work to make Israel an exceedingly good land, are ever grateful to you, faithful customers who strengthen the dream of restoring Eretz Yisrael—The Land of Israel—by purchasing their products!

This Jewish New Year, we want to extend a big “Thank You” to all of you. Thank you for supporting the vision of the dreamers, as it says in Psalms 126:1, “When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream!” The Jewish people are returning home, back to God and back to their land So, when we hear the piercing sound of the shofar this year, may it not just be a reminder of how far we have to go, but also, how far we have come in the current redemption story happening in our time! We wish you all a very heartfelt “Shanna Tova u’Metuka”—A Good and Sweet Year!

My wife ( Sharon) and I are praying for Isreal and the peace of Zion: Jerusalem The city of God, the place the Lord Jesus will return to Judge the Nations. We support you all in defending your existence as God’s everlasting covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Along with the grafted in body of Christ. IN Jesus, who desires all Isreal to look for His glorious return. Praying the Holy Spirit will guide your leaders, your IDF soldiers and your economic growth and success of Israel’s people. May the Lord protect and guide you all.
