"Creating jewelry for me is a way of expressing my love for the beauty in creation"
Maayan Ayash was born in Brazil into a family of artists, where she absorbed the love of design and the ability to observe and translate the beauty of the surroundings into creation. She grew up in a place full of natural gems, a childhood of beaches and forests.
After a long journey of exploration, Maayan made Aliyah to Israel where she experienced an in-depth study of Judaism that began in Tzfat and continued during her days studying traditional goldsmithing and Judaica in Jerusalem. From there she came to the landscape of the Samarian mountains. In the town of Yitzhar, she set up a workshop in front of an amazing view of the mountain range from the mountain to the sunset at the sea. For Maayan, creating jewelry is a way of expressing the love of beauty in creation. It’s a way to bring joy and emotion, to remember and to cherish.
