How Do I Re-Liquify My Raw Honey?

Here’s how to re-liquify your raw honey without damaging its healthy enzymes. Follow the
directions below to restore your honey to its former glory!

Here Are Three Methods You Can Use:

1. Warm water technique
2. Dehydrator technique (for those who have this option)
3. Sunny window technique

Warm Water Technique:

  • Place the honey jar into a pot of warm, not boiling, water. Ensure the honey jar is
submerged completely to the top to expedite the melting process. The water should notexceed 110°F. Anything warmer may affect the natural enzymes.
  • Check every 20 minutes and stir if needed. You should start to see your honey liquefy in about 20 minutes, but you may need to repeat this process until your honey reaches the desired consistency. Keep water at a low temperature to avoid overheating.

Avoid the microwave, as high heat can destroy the honey's beneficial properties.

Dehydrator Technique:

  • This one is so simple! Set your dehydrator to 100°F and place the honey jars inside. Check on the honey every 20 minutes until it’s at the desired consistency.

Sunny Window Technique:

  • All you need is a sunny window and a nice, warm day. Place your honey in the sun for about a day, and it will start to liquify again!
