Upcoming Elections
Earlier this week, the Knesset–Israel’s parliament–confirmed it will hold elections on October 27, 2026. Pray for Israel as they enter this intense season of political campaigning. The current government has been in place since the end of 2022, meaning it will be Israel's first election since October 7.
The Situation with Iran
After a brief ceasefire following the U.S.-Iran Memorandum of Understanding, things seem to be heating up once again. Currently, the United States is bringing more refueling aircraft into Israel, and reports of potential further escalation. Pray for protection for Israel, and true victory and peace.
Developments to Israel's North
It has been an eventful few weeks to Israel’s north as well. There is pressure on Israel to withdraw from territory it has held in southern Syria since December 2024, when the Assad government fell. The territory includes the summit of Mt. Hermon, which Israel took control of in order to establish a buffer zone to ensure a secure border.

Israel has also been in talks with the Lebanese government, in a quest to further weaken Hezbollah control in Lebanon. Right now they are working to establish pilot zones–areas of southern Lebanon that Israel would withdraw from and allow the Lebanese Armed Forces to establish themselves. While these negotiations are historic, they are still very fragile and much progress needs to be made before Israel’s north is made secure.
Remembering Israel's Most Tragic Day
Next Tuesday evening is the beginning of the most somber day on the Jewish Calendar. The Ninth of Av is the day in history both Temples were destroyed. It’s a time of repentance and mourning, but also of hope in God’s mercy and faithfulness—looking to the promise of Zechariah 8:19, that one day it will be transformed into a day of joy! We can join the Jewish People in repentance, and prayer that it becomes a day of joy comes soon.

He Who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. May His mercy and grace continually be upon His people. We pray also for the upcoming elections that they may get leaders who uphold Godly values and reject secularism and demonic culture that is an abomination before Hashem. Godbless.
Prayers for Israel!!!
